Beryl

Pure Beryl is colorless, but it also occurs in a variety of colors including green, yellow, greenish-yellow, blue to blue-green, red and that’s  because of traces of different impurities. Each varity of beryl is known with a specific name according to the color, the blue to blue-green variety is known as Aquamarine, it's the most popular light-blue gem.

The green variety, is known as Emerald, it's   the most popular green gemstone and is one of the most valuable gems.

The golden yellow to orange-yellow color is known as Golden Beryl,the white to colorless variety of Beryl is known as Goshenite,the pink to light-purple variety is known as Morganite and the deep red variety known as Red Beryl, also known as Bixbite, it's a rare one.

           The name of this gemstone (beryl) comes from the ancient Greek, beryllos, and means ("precious blue-green color").
